Django Workshop and Competition – Day 3

With the end of the 3rd session, the 3 days workshop session of “Django Workshop and Competition” formally came to an end. Instructor of the workshop session and founder of Bits Innovation Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Santosh Purbey covered template rendering, authentication, Django form, GIT Vcs, Github, Simple HTTP Server, FTP in the final session of the workshop. Attendees of the event all in general accepted, that the workshop was very effective and was able to become a platform for them to emerge in this competitive dynamic market.


The overall event “Django Workshop and Competition” was organized by CSIT Association of Nepal and Co-organized by St.Lawrence College, in support from Nep SoftTech, Bits Innovation Pvt. Ltd.,,, and B.Sc.CSIT App. The main objective of the event is to provide students to learn and pursue professionals technical skills apart from just theoretical knowledge.

Before official announcement of Competition Schedule and Format a short Brain Storming Session was conducted by Mr. Bipin Badhikar. A Thankyou Speech was delivered by Vice President Of CSITAN Mr. Subash Dhital, addressing the motive of organizing this workshop and organizational goal of CSITAN.


Considering the major prevalent issues of environment, health, social sector and education sector in Nepali Society, the themes of product development for the event were announced as Environmental Issues,Health Issues, Social Issues, Educational Sector Issues on the previous day by convener of the event Mr.Pratik Basyal. Also considering the importance of innovation in development of community, IOT “Internet Of Things” has also been announced as the theme for the product development.

In a brief, the attendees actively participated to polish their technical knowledge. Accepting to continue their Carrer in Python and Django unanimously, by the attendees upon Mr.Subash Dhital`s question of “Who will continue their development using Python and Django?” can be considered a measure of success for this workshop.
